The tremendous growth and diversification over the last 17 years required a few changes for Ultimo as a company, including the way we look. A complete brand redesign was in order, an evolution for Ultimo that expresses our core values; innovation, imagination & intelligence – designed not only for visual appearance, but customer focused functionality as well. NEWLY APPOINTED Michelin Star Quality CHEFS
A new look is not all we have to announce, Ultimo have appointed a new executive chef Matt Leahy and Head chef David Whitting. Combined, Matt and David have 30 years of culinary experience and both chefs come from a background of working in Michelin star restaurants. The talented duo will bring fresh ideas and new menus to our customer’s tables.
Executive Chef, Matt Leahy’s, skill and passion for fine food helped gain a Michelin Star for The Cliff House Restaurant in Dublin under renowned chef Martijn Kajuiter. This has led him to preparing menus and dining experiences all over the world.
Head Chef, David Whitting’s, previous experience includes, working at ‘Blue’ Restaurant, a 3 Michelin Star restaurant, in New York City, under Eric Ripert. His most recent worked in Perth was Head Chef at the new Bistro Guillaume.
This calibre of chefs for a catering company is relatively unheard of in Western Australia, and sets the tone for the direction Ultimo Catering & Events are heading in. Our level of experience and capacity are unparalleled in the catering industry, and we are extremely proud to introduce our new chefs and look to match! Feed your imagination!
