Beach Wedding Venue

Brianna and Matthew met unexpectedly at a friends’ house along the beautiful WA coast in Scarborough. 7 years later, the couple decided to tie the knot at Ultimo’s exclusive wedding venue, the City Beach Surf Lifesaving Club as the picturesque WA coast held a special place in their heart.

The Ceremony & Reception

The sun was shining, the sky was blue and the clouds were tucked away making it the perfect setting to say ‘I do’. Walking down the aisle to ‘Never Let Me Go’ by the Florence and the Machine, Brianna was styling a gorgeous dress by Berta Bridal and a beautiful bouquet by Alisha at The Bohemian Flower Collective.  

Brianna, with the help of Ultimo’s wedding planner, Nicola, planned an unforgettable day. Brianna described the planning process a ‘labour of love’. She thoroughly enjoyed every moment and with hours and hours of Facebook and Pinterest browsing, she turned the wedding venue into a bold and modern escape that she and Matthew can cherish forever.

Instead of a traditional wedding cake the couple opted for a wedding cheesecake wheel.

 

Brianna’s top tips for future brides

  • If you don’t enjoy the wedding planning process, make sure you consider a wedding planner- It can be a bit much if it isn’t your cup of tea
  • For DIY brides, Facebook pages such as ‘Perth Wedding- Buy and Sell’ & ‘Perth DIY & budget weddings’ are extremely helpful to find décor, vendors and ideas.
  • On the day of the wedding, hand your mobile phone to a bridesmaid!
  • The Ceviche bar was an absolute hit. Don’t miss out!
