Rachael + Shane’s Wedding

Rachael + Shane were recently married at the Quarry Amphitheatre on the 29th of April 2017. The two met when at a mutual friends party Rachael spilt her drink all over Shane’s top! It ended up being the perfect conversation starter as he has always joked from then on that owed him a new tshirt! A few years later the still very much in love couple were in Rottnest for a weekend getaway & went for a bike ride to the old light house, which is when Shane surprised her by getting down on one knee!

Set in the Quarry’s beautiful clear marquee the styling was put together by the bride herself (she is an amazing florist after all – Haus of Bloom, check her out!). The entire evening was full of glamorous golds,  beautiful florals thanks to Matthew Landers and his team and a whole lot of bohemian WOW. Rachael was glowing in her wedding dress custom made by Donna Tobin, make up by Alliah & Lexi Thomas MUA and hair was by style by Simone.

Dory fish, sweet corn, spinach, lemongrass, enoki

Tenderloin of beef, pomme puree, baby carrot, watercress

Pesto gnocchi, with sweet potato, courgette & tomato (V)

The rest of the evening was a celebration to remember, the two’s dearest friends and family gave heartfelt toasts, laughed and danced along side the couple to their wedding song “ Until the end of time” by Justin Timberlake and Beyonce and all into the night!

Rachael’s tips for other brides: Enjoy it, don’t stress yourself out. Try to go with the flow as everything ends up working out perfectly! I honestly enjoyed every bit of the planning!

Congratulations, Rachael + Shane, we’re so glad we were able to cater your Bohemian Luxe wedding.
