City Beach SLSC Wedding
Rachel + Matt were recently married at Ultimo’s brand new exclusive venue the City Beach Surf Life Saving Club on the 10th of December 2016. Rachel and Matt met at Mid Kent College in the UK when they were both 18. After a long while of dating the couple decided it was time to make a change and move to Perth where Matt was originally from.
A year after living in Perth Rachel’s parents were in town for their first visit. Matt had arranged what Rachel thought was a day trip to Rottnest however later found out Matt had booked for them to stay at Rottnest for the night even calling Rachel’s boss to arrange for her to have the Monday off work. Following a day of snorkeling, bike riding and exploring the island Matt took Rachel for an evening bike ride and once at the top of a beautiful cove edge overlooking one of the beautiful bays of Rottnest Island Matt got down on one knee at sunset and proposed. Rachel and Matt then return to the hotel to celebrate with Rachel’s parents over a champagne dinner.
The Ceremony
Everything that Rachel and Matt could have dreamed for – their ideal setting a beautiful summer’s day overlooking the ocean. Rachel and Matt love the beach life style having moved from the UK to Perth they love the outside life style and are always at the beach. Matt was fishing at City Beach when he first saw the venue and said – I found our venue! For them the wedding was always going to be a beach side location and when Rachel saw the rooftop setting at the City Beach Surf Club they knew this was the location for the big day. As Rachel is from the UK they had over 20 guests attending from overseas along with guests from the East Coast and closer to home here and Perth and all were mesmerized by the view and unique setting.

Trust the professional – let them take away the stress of planning, share your vision and let them deliver.
Think about exactly what you both want from your day – the atmosphere you want to set and make sure your day represents you both not what you think the day should be!
