SKG Radiology Christmas Party

Ultimo Catering & Events are specialists in marquee AND Christmas catering, so with great pleasure we catered for SKG Radiology’s Christmas party for 450 guests, held in a marquee on Ozone Reserve. Located a stone throw from the city and looking over the river, this was the perfect spot to celebrate another great year with colleagues.

Guests were entertained by live music in a silk lined marquee, complete with stage, lights and a huge dance floor. Stunning festoon lantern lighting adorned the outside of the marquee in front of the food stalls – creating a warm and inviting al fresco area to chat and enjoy the food.

Large party catering is one of Ultimo’s specialities – so we were up for the challenge. We designed a custom international themed menu for the occasion – Serving 450 guests an entree, followed by 8 different festival style food stalls for the main affair.

 

Entrée

Wagyu bresaola, shaved honey butternut pumpkin, frisee lettuce, hazelnut crumbed goats cheese (GF)

Sous vide chicken breast, apple & celeriac remoulade, caper crunch, verjuice gelee  (GF)

 

Food Station 1 – Pizza

Wood fired Pizza – 4 delicious gorumet pizza flavours, cooked freshly onsite in our pizza oven

 

Food Station 2 – Mexican 

Sour range Yucatan chicken quesadilla, corn, avocado and cilantro salsa

Battered fish soft shell taco, chipotle mayo, fresh slaw, mango relish

Pulled pork, caramelized pineapple chutney, fresh rocket, sesame bun

 

Food Station 3 – Italiano

Lamb meatballs, rich Napoli sauce, mint chutney, tomato and cucumber salad, pita bread

Chicken, sun dried tomato penne, creamy parmesan sauce

Pumpkin, feta and preserved lemon arancini (v)

 

Food Station 4 – Paella

Paella cooked in a traditional 1.5 metre pan right in front of guests

Chicken, chorizo & Sweetcorn Paella; Rich homemade chicken stock infused with saffron and smoked paprika, sautéed chorizo, free range chicken, sweet corn kernels

 

Food Station 5 – Indian

Selection curry’s and sides

Butter chicken  |  Beef Rogan josh  |  Subzi with sambar and toasted seeds (V)

Selection of chutneys and relishes

Butter Naan bread

Yellow scented rice

 

Food Station 6 – American Sliders

Peri peri chicken, cheese, caramalised onion, cucumber and tomato salsa

Ground beef patty, fresh tomato, cheddar cheese and tomato chutney

Cracked wheat, lentil and honey, hummus and iceberg (V)

Pulled pork, chipotle mayo and pickled veg

 

Food Station 7 – English Gourmet Pies

Traditional beef pie, crusted pistachio pastry

Shepherds pie, with creamy mash

Lamb and rosemary pie

Chicken & mushroom pie, golden gruyere

Curry leaf, chickpea and aubergine pie, toasted cumin (V)

 

Food Station 8 – Dessert 

Cinnamon sugar coated donuts (fresh from the donut machine)

Decadent nutmeg, cinnamon& chocolate brownie

On behalf of West Australian Ballet and the Black & White Ball committee I would like to thank Ultimo Catering & Events for your support and commitment which made Saturday evening so successful. We have received many wonderful comments from guests about the evening, including the fabulous food and attentive waiting staff.
