Atlas Iron Christmas Party

On Saturday 19th December 2015, ultimo had the pleasure of catering for Atlas Irons annual Christmas Party located at the magnificent Gardens of Government House Grounds. Guests revelled in the beautiful open air environment and were entertained by live acoustic music in the sunlight creating for a glorious relaxed, inviting al fresco area to chat and enjoy the food.

Large party catering is one of Ultimo’s specialties – so we were up for the challenge. We designed a custom BBQ  menu for the occasion – Serving 150 guests canapes, followed by some our our tastiest BBQ items.



Sumac chicken with candied cumquat jam, poppy seed crusted cup

Petit wild mushroom and tarragon flan, with goats cheese mousse

Thai prawn style rice paper rolls, fresh mint, glass noodles, crunchy Asian vegetables, mild sweet chili dip sauce

Smoked salmon crepe royal with crème fraiche and caviar and dill

BBQ Catering

Authentic Indonesian chicken and beef satays

3 prawn skewer in lemon and coriander

Child friendly chicken drumsticks

Chinese style seafood gyoza with sweet soy sauce or sweet plum syrup dip

Corn on the cob drizzled in butter

Herb and parmesan crusted lamb cutlets with tomato chutney

House sliders

Pulled pork, chipotle mayo with Asian slaw

Chicken schnitzel sliders with citrus herb crumb, crisp cos lettuce, house mayo, Asian slaw


Mini torched lemon meringue tartlets,

Mini orange cake with cream cheese frosting

Mini choc brownie with gold edible glitter

Assorted house made macaroons
