Giddy Up to Recap Ultimo’s 2025 High Noon End-of Year Event
There are events that fill a calendar and events that take it over. High Noon belonged firmly in the second category. Set against the open skies of Ozone Reserve, Ultimo’s Western inspired end of year experience arrived with confidence, scale and unmistakable presence. What unfolded over the season was not simply a themed corporate celebration, but a fully realised environment that redefined what an outdoor end of year event could be.
From the first night, High Noon established itself as bold, immersive and meticulously executed. Guests stepped into a world built from the ground up, one that felt cinematic in scale yet welcoming in spirit. It was premium without pretence, playful without chaos, and delivered with the kind of polish that has become synonymous with Ultimo events.
Concept
High Noon was conceived as a modern Western experience designed to transform open space into a destination. The intention was clear from the outset. This was not about styling a venue. It was about constructing an environment that felt intentional, immersive and transportive, while still allowing corporate guests to relax and enjoy the celebration.
Drawing inspiration from frontier towns and Western iconography, the concept leaned into warmth, texture and atmosphere. Timber structures, desert tones and expansive sightlines were used to create a sense of scale and openness, giving the event a cinematic quality that set it apart from traditional end of year functions.
The experience was designed to unfold as guests moved through the site. From arrival through to entertainment, food and late night dancing, every element worked together to create a seamless narrative. Guests didn’t simply attend High Noon. They entered it.
Over the course of the season, the concept proved its strength. Each night brought new groups into the space, all experiencing the same sense of surprise and delight that comes from stepping into a fully built Ultimo world.
Styling
Styling was the backbone of High Noon and played a major role in delivering its impact. Ozone Reserve was transformed into a premium frontier town, with every element carefully curated to balance authenticity with refinement.
Timber structures formed the framework of the space, giving it weight and permanence. Warm, dust toned pathways guided guests through the site, creating flow while encouraging exploration. Lantern light flickered across wooden facades, barrels, rope and textured props, all layered in a way that felt intentional rather than decorative.
Visual storytelling was woven throughout the environment. Wanted posters, desert horizon backdrops and custom graphic elements gave depth and context, making the space feel lived in rather than staged. Every corner offered a considered photo moment without disrupting the overall cohesion of the site.
As day turned to night, the styling took on a new dimension. Festoon lighting glowed against the open sky, shadows moved across the structures and the space felt alive. The transformation reinforced the idea that High Noon was not a temporary setup, but a fully realised environment built to host moments that linger long after guests left.
Entertainment
Entertainment at High Noon was designed to feel embedded rather than introduced. Each element felt like it belonged within the world, contributing to the atmosphere rather than interrupting it.
Roving performers moved through the space with ease, engaging guests naturally and adding personality to the environment. The cowboy presence felt authentic and effortless, drawing guests in for photos, conversation and spontaneous interaction. The snake charmer, complete with Hulk in tow, added an unexpected and memorable element that quickly became a talking point.
The 360 photo booth captured dynamic content throughout the night, producing shareable moments that extended the life of the event well beyond Ozone Reserve. Nearby, the bumper cars delivered pure joy, pulling guests into laughter filled chaos that broke down barriers and encouraged play.
Line dancing became a shared ritual, beginning with hesitation and quickly turning into collective participation. It was inclusive, light hearted and created moments of connection across teams. As the DJ took over, Western inspired sounds blended seamlessly with modern anthems, driving the energy late into the night and keeping the dance floor full.
Food
High Noon’s food offering was built on hearty indulgence delivered with Ultimo precision. The menu was designed to satisfy at scale without compromising on flavour, quality or presentation.
Canapés set the tone early. Goat cheese cones with quince and honey pepper caviar brought elegance to the opening moments. Buffalo spiced chicken lollipops delivered richness and heat. Cheeseburger spring rolls quickly became crowd favourites, earning genuine reactions from guests. Cajun prawn skewers offered brightness and balance, while vegan and gluten free options impressed with bold flavour and thoughtful execution.
When the stations opened, the energy shifted. Hot honey chicken created immediate queues as guests returned again and again. Philly sangas were devoured with enthusiasm, with tender beef and molten cheese layered into soft brioche. The jackfruit version surprised even the most sceptical guests, holding its own alongside the meat based options.
The parmesan wheel pasta delivered theatre and comfort in equal measure, while Memphis loaded fries became the unapologetic favourite of the night. Sticky, smoky and generous, they embodied the spirit of High Noon. Every plate was abundant. Every service flowed. Nothing faltered.
Impact
High Noon stood as a clear expression of Ultimo’s capability at scale. It demonstrated the ability to build environments, orchestrate entertainment and deliver food that becomes part of the story rather than a supporting act.
Guests arrived expecting a corporate Christmas party and left feeling like they had experienced something far greater. The transformation was not just physical but emotional, as teams connected, laughed and shared moments that extended beyond the event itself.
As the season came to a close and the frontier town faded back into open ground, the impact of High Noon remained. In conversations. In shared photos. In stories retold back at the office. It was a reminder that when Ultimo builds a world, people remember it.
High Noon was not simply a Western themed celebration. It was hospitality at scale, delivered with imagination, confidence and care. And it reinforced what our clients already know. When it comes to end of year events in Western Australia, Ultimo sets the standard.
Gratitude
