Montgomery House in Mount Claremont, is a magnificent, 113 year old heritage building, acquired by Aegis in 2012. Recently the entire facilities has undergone a 40 million dollar remarkable renovation to transform it into a unique and exclusive aged care facilities.
A separate feature is to Montgomery House is the grand hall, a majestic, heritage-listed function space, originally built in 1904 as a dining hall and theatre for the adjoining hospital, this stunning building has been meticulously restored, transformed and modernised to create a truly unique and versatile venue for weddings, corporate events, private functions and much more. Montgomery Hall captures the elegance and romance of a bygone era making it Perth’s most exciting new venue.
The historic venue can seat 150 people in spacious splendour. There are two separate downstairs conference rooms each accommodate 40 people for corporate functions or training. The magnificent ballroom with its soaring 9-metre-high ceiling and glittering crystal chandeliers has a vast, uninterrupted seating area of 27 metres by 15 metres. The building’s original and impressive heritage features have been authentically restored and retained, while subtle hues of white, gold and grey highlight the main body of the hall.
