Distribution Lane brings a slice of New York to Fremantle’s streets
The Distribution Lane team is on a mission to bring a slice of New York to the heart of Fremantle’s West End. Tucked away at the end of Pakenham Street, nestled between heritage buildings, is a unique pop-up laneway space designed to be used as an event space for fashion shows, art & culture events, birthday parties and weddings.
Seeking to attract people to an often-overlooked corner of the port city, the team have transformed an empty alleyway into a moody and atmospheric venue that speaks to Fremantle’s industrial past.
At a time when Fremantle appears to be undergoing a cultural renaissance, the distribution lane team are hoping to offer a distinctive one-of-a-kind experience to clients looking for a venue that’s different from anything we’ve seen in Perth.
Not only is this space used as a venue for hire but last summer distribution lane opened its doors to the public every weekend for a one of a kind pop up event. They combine food & music and played host to DJ’s and American street-food vendors, adding a new element to Fremantle’s already vibrant restaurant, bar and live music scene.
It seems like the team are considering it again for this summer! We suggest giving them a follow on Instagram to keep an eye out for those up coming public events! @distributionlane
Distribution Lane is defiantly Perth’s hottest event space, with a capacity of 150 people cocktail style, this venues is booking out fast.
